Description

The City of Tshwane's Energy and Electricity Department is seeking a reliable and physically fit General Worker to join the Bulk Supply Services team at Rooiwal Power Station. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning offices and storerooms, assisting with basic recordkeeping of meter movement, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Responsibilities

•  Clean offices
•  Clean storerooms
•  Keep records of meter movement
•  Adhere to safety measures as required by the Occupational Health
•  and Safety Act, 1993 (Act 85 of 1993)

Requirements

•  Ability to perform duties
•  Basic literacy
•  Relevant working experience in an electrical environment will be an added advantage
•  Physical fitness and health
•  Must undergo a criminal record check and such a person shall allow their fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost
