The Foschini Group is recruiting a YES Visual Merchandise / Graphic Designer Intern for the Markham team.

The intern will work closely with the marketing and visual merchandising teams to help design and implement attractive in-store displays. The programme provides practical experience in visual merchandising, graphic design and retail design while supporting the brand’s visual identity.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning in-store product displays.
• Assist with executing in-store displays.
• Assist with planning and installing window displays.
• Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to create cohesive and visually appealing displays.
• Maintain and update product displays.
• Ensure displays remain attractive and organised.
• Ensure displays comply with the brand’s standards.
• Conduct market research on visual merchandising and retail-design trends.
• Research competitor displays.
• Support the setup of promotional displays.
• Support the setup of seasonal displays.
• Assist with creating store signage.
• Assist with creating graphics and other visual elements.
• Help ensure that visual merchandising guidelines are applied consistently across store locations.
• Provide support during photo shoots.
• Assist with other visual merchandising projects.
