Data Assistant

Description

The Data Assistant will support the data department by performing administrative and data verification tasks, ensuring accurate data entry and secure document management.

Responsibilities

•  Perform source data verification (electronic vs paper).
•  Print, file, and organize research documents.
•  Safeguard both paper and electronic data.
•  Manage file requests and ensure accountability.
•  Maintain data inventory and assist with related admin tasks.
•  Uphold quality standards and meet deadlines.
•  Participate in training and development opportunities.

Requirements

•  Grade 12
•  1 year of experience in a data environment (advantageous)
•  The subject heading of the email must read DM – 023 – Data Assistant please include a cover letter and a detailed CV

•  Proficiency with database systems, tablets, and smartphones
•  Strong typing accuracy and data entry speed
•  Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
