Digital Marketing YES Learnership

Description

Takealot, in partnership with the Youth Employment Service (YES), is offering a 12-month paid learnership opportunity for unemployed youth to gain valuable workplace experience. This programme focuses on providing learners with digital marketing and e-commerce skills while supporting small, medium, and micro enterprises (SMMEs) who are Takealot Marketplace sellers.

Important Note: Learners will be placed with SMMEs (small businesses) who are Takealot Marketplace sellers, not directly with Takealot itself.

Responsibilities

•  Assist SMMEs with their Takealot Marketplace presence
•  Support digital marketing activities including: Social media management and content creation, Basic product photography and image editing, Online listing optimisation, Customer engagement and feedback management
•  Help create and optimise product listings for the Takealot Marketplace
•  Learn about e-commerce operations and logistics
•  Gain exposure to other aspects of business operations
•  Complete required training and skills development activities
•  Participate in regular progress assessments
