Description

Ampath is seeking a detail-oriented Central Data Capturer to ensure accurate and efficient capturing of patient records and service request forms. The role supports operational excellence and contributes directly to high-quality healthcare delivery in a fast-paced pathology environment.

Responsibilities

•  Accurately capture service requests and patient information into the system
•  Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal protocols
•  Assist in maintaining up-to-date, error-free patient records
•  Support internal teams and contribute to client satisfaction
•  Work collaboratively to uphold Ampath’s quality standards

Requirements

•  Grade 12 with Typing or Computer Practice/Studies
•  Minimum 6 months’ data capturing experience (preferably in medical/pathology field)

Skills & Competencies

•  Typing speed of 60+ words per minute
•  Strong computer literacy and attention to detail
•  Good communication skills in English and Afrikaans
•  Strong numerical and reasoning ability
