Description

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of museum facilities, galleries, and surrounding grounds.
• Assist with the setup, movement, and storage of museum furniture and displays.
• Receive and check deliveries of museum orders.
• Monitor environmental conditions in exhibition and storage areas.
• Support the planning and execution of exhibitions and public programmes.
• Provide excellent visitor engagement and customer service.
• Contribute to the smooth daily operation of the museum and broader directorate.

Requirements

• Grade 10 qualification.
• 0 - 1 year of experience in a museum, gallery, or similar environment.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Physical capability for tasks such as moving displays and cleaning.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
