Description
Tiger Brands is seeking a reliable Van Assistant to support delivery operations by ensuring accurate, safe, and timely loading, transportation, and offloading of bread products. The role includes assisting with quality checks, customer service, and crate/returns management.
Responsibilities
- Pick and deliver correct type, quantity, and quality of loaves per invoice.
- Load and offload bread, crates, and returns safely and efficiently.
- Conduct vehicle cab checks and maintain cleanliness.
- Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and company SOPs.
- Identify and report damaged/poor-quality products.
- Merchandise bread in stores and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Provide feedback on customer needs and market observations.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations.
- Ability to navigate routes and delivery sites.
