The Department of Employment and Labour is inviting applications for Administration Clerk: Management Support Services positions in the Western Cape.

There are 2 posts available at the following Labour Centres:

• Mossel Bay Labour Centre
• Worcester Labour Centre

The successful candidates will provide administrative support within Management Support Services at the Labour Centre. The role includes supply chain management support, finance and office administration, human resource support, records management, transport administration, and general administrative duties.

This opportunity is suitable for candidates with Matric / Grade 12 / Senior Certificate who are organised, computer literate, and interested in public sector administration.

Responsibilities

• Render Supply Chain Management functions at the Labour Centre.
• Provide finance and office management services.
• Render Human Resource Management support at the Labour Centre.
• Support training and performance activities.
• Manage and support records management functions.
• Support transport administration at the Labour Centre.
• Ensure safe keeping of pool cars.
• Render general administrative work when required.
• Maintain records and documentation.
• Support the smooth daily functioning of the Labour Centre.

Requirements

• Matriculation / Grade 12 / Senior Certificate.
• No experience required.
• Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles.
• Knowledge of departmental policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of Treasury Regulations.
