Dis-Chem Pharmacies is inviting applications for an Online Administrator position at its Castle Gate store in Pretoria, Gauteng.

The main purpose of this role is to ensure the effective in-store operation of the Dis-Chem Online Store’s Click & Collect system.

The successful candidate will manage customer orders, ensure goods are ready for collection, handle system and email queries, keep accurate records of Click & Collect orders, and provide a high-quality customer service experience.

This role is suitable for candidates with retail experience, computer literacy, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work retail hours.

Responsibilities

• Promote a superior customer relations experience for all Click & Collect users.
• Manage customer orders and ensure they are ready before customers visit the store for collection.
• Stay up to date with email and system queries.
• Respond to online store queries correctly and timeously.
• Keep accurate records of all Click & Collect orders received, picked, packed, and released to customers.
• Identify opportunities to reduce customer waiting times when collecting orders.
• Report system issues as soon as they appear.
• Correctly pick and pack parcels to avoid customer discrepancies.
• Resolve customer queries as quickly and appropriately as possible.
• Inform management of unresolved customer matters.
• Maintain regular communication with management.
• Provide updated feedback regarding online operations.
• Implement new online operations as required by management.
• Support effective Click & Collect in-store operations.

Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Proof of vaccination certificate.
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a relevant retail environment.
• Computer literacy.
• MS Office skills.
• Internet browser administration skills.
• Willingness and ability to work retail hours.
• Reliable transport.
• Fully vaccinated with proof of vaccination certificate.
• South African citizenship.
• Clear credit record.
• Clear criminal record.
