Description

This programme leads to registration in the category General Nurse (GN R.171 of 8 March 2013). The Registered General Nurse with the qualification Diploma in Nursing will have the necessary knowledge and skills to render nursing care to patients with a wide range of conditions in a variety of healthcare settings and manage a nursing unit.

Requirements

•  Grade 12 with minimum requirements for diploma admission
•  English level 4
•  Life (Biology) level 4 or Physical Science level 3
•  Mathematics Literacy level 4 or Mathematics level 3
•  Minimum of 23 points (24 points if Mathematical Literacy applies),which excludes Life Orientation
•  Computer Literacy (NQF Level 3) will serve as a recommendation
