The Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety is offering 204 Traffic Learner Officer opportunities.

Successful candidates will complete a 12-month training programme at the Traffic College. The programme includes strenuous physical exercise and is intended to prepare learners for work within the traffic-management environment.

Requirements

• Grade 12, NQF Level 4 or an equivalent qualification recognised by the South African Qualifications Authority.
• Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old.
• A valid driver’s licence.
• No criminal record.
• Applicants must not have visible tattoos.
• Applicants must be medically, mentally and physically fit to undergo the training programme.
• Applicants must not have been declared unfit to possess a firearm under the Firearms Control Act, 2000, or other relevant legislation.
• Ability to undergo strenuous physical exercise for the duration of the programme.
• Ability to drive a motor vehicle.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to provide:

• A medical certificate confirming that they are physically fit and mentally stable to perform strenuous exercise.
• Certified copies of their educational qualifications.
• A certified copy of their identity document.
• A valid driver’s licence.
