The programme gives graduates the opportunity to gain practical experience, develop professional skills, and build exposure across different functions within the company through internal rotations.

Graduates will work with industry experts, take on real responsibilities, receive training, and be assigned mentors to support their development path at Glencore.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the HR Services Graduate Programme.
• Gain practical workplace experience within Glencore’s HR Services environment.
• Work on diverse projects and operations across the business.
• Participate in internal rotations to gain broad exposure to different company functions.
• Work with industry experts to develop technical and professional skills.
• Take on real responsibilities to gain a holistic view of the business.
• Participate in training programmes covering technical and soft skills.
• Work within the Global HR Services team in Johannesburg.
• Support the HR Hub, which supports key operational processes for multiple Glencore offices worldwide.
• Provide functional support to HR Services and Payroll.
• Gain exposure to international HR operations and best practice.
• Contribute to impactful employee experiences across the globe.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree.
• A qualification in one of the following fields is beneficial:
  • Human Resources
  • Business Administration
  • Related field
