Description

Eskom is recruiting three young South Africans for its Youth Employment Service programme within the Water and Environmental Operations Department.

The YES initiative provides unemployed youth with an opportunity to gain 12 months of practical work experience in the energy industry.

Successful applicants may be placed within Eskom operations across its divisions.

Requirements

• South African citizenship.
• Applicants must be between 18 and 34 years old.
• Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification.
• Applicants must not be studying full-time during the year of employment.
• Applicants must not have participated in or registered for the YES initiative before.
• Applicants must not have been permanently employed by one employer continuously for more than one year.
• Applicants must complete Eskom’s recruitment process.
• Successful candidates must be willing to accept placement within Eskom operations and divisions.
