Fieldworker

Description

The Fieldworker will be responsible for recruiting and retaining participants for the MIRNA study, conducting interviews, and ensuring accurate data collection and reporting while adhering to ethical research standards.

Responsibilities

•  Conduct interviews with study participants using study tablets.
•  Ensure ethical and efficient data collection practices.
•  Address participant concerns and misconceptions.
•  Follow up on missed events and conduct home visits if needed.
•  Report missed visits and data errors to supervisors.
•  Maintain and charge assigned tablet daily.
•  Attend to administrative tasks including completion of participant information and feedback logs.
•  Take ownership of performance, attend training, and support organisational values.

Skills & Competencies

•  Experience or willingness to conduct field interviews.
•  Good communication and empathy skills.
•  Ability to follow protocols and meet daily targets.
•  Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
•  Ability to work in the field and conduct home visits as needed.
•  Familiarity with data entry using tablets is an advantage.
