Computer Technician Learnership

Description

Mecer Inter-Ed, in collaboration with MICT SETA, invites unemployed youth to apply for a 12-month Computer Technician Learnership. This in-person programme offers practical and theoretical training in IT support, equipping learners with essential technical skills to enter the digital workforce.

Responsibilities

•  Troubleshoot and maintain computer hardware and software systems
•  Provide desktop and basic network support
•  Implement environmentally sustainable IT practices
•  Communicate effectively with users and clients
•  Prepare for entry-level IT support roles in various industries

Requirements

•  Must be a South African citizen and classified as HDI (Historically Disadvantaged Individual)
•  Aged 18–28 years old
•  Hold a minimum of NQF Level 4 qualification
•  Unemployed and not currently in training or education
•  Must not have previously participated in a SETA Learnership or Internship
•  Reside within 20–30 km of Mecer Inter-Ed (Gauteng)
