Description

The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department is seeking a qualified Security Guard to safeguard premises, assets, and personnel. The successful candidate will perform access control, monitor CCTV systems, respond to emergencies, and complete necessary administrative duties to ensure a safe and secure environment.

Responsibilities

•  Secure premises, assets and personnel to ensure safe and secure environment.
•  Perform access control functions to provide visible presence that enforces safety and security.
•  Execute administration functions to ensure efficient and effective administration processes
•  Report and assist during emergencies and maintain control during emergencies.
•  Monitor and operate CCTV cameras and equipment in order to prevent crime and theft and protect the safety and property of the CoE.

Requirements

•  Grade 12 or Equivalent Qualification
•  Basic Security Course (PSIRA)
•  No criminal record or illicit activity recorded
•  Registered as Security Officer with PSIRA at least Grade C
•  Grade A will be an added advantage
•  1 years' experience in Security.
