Description
Remote Recruitment is on the lookout for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our finance team. This role involves providing essential support with financial transactions, reporting, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial principles and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
This is a remote position, allowing for flexibility while contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Support month-end closing activities and financial reconciliations.
- Help prepare documentation for audits and manage compliance requirements.
- Assist in payroll processing and employee expense reporting.
- Respond to financial inquiries and provide customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- A Grade 12 (Matric) certificate is essential.
- A National Diploma or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field will be advantageous.
- Previous experience in a finance or accounting environment will serve as a strong advantage.

Skills & Competencies
