Description

Responsibilities

• Capture, organise, store, and retrieve data, correspondence, and documentation.
• Maintain filing systems, document registers, and statistical records.
• Handle routine enquiries, photocopying, scanning, faxing, and document distribution.
• Provide supply chain support: request quotations, complete procurement forms, and manage office stationery.
• Maintain asset, personnel, attendance, and leave registers.
• Arrange travel and accommodation for staff.
• Provide financial administration support: capture expenditure, verify travel/subsistence claims, manage petty cash and telephone accounts.
• Draft minutes and type correspondence as required.

Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) – No experience required.
• Basic understanding of public service policies, procedures, and administrative processes.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Computer literacy (MS Office and general computer operations).
• Data capturing accuracy and attention to detail.
• Planning, organising, and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to changing tasks.
