Description
Sasol is offering five Learnership opportunities for aspiring Chemical Plant Operators in Alberton. The programme provides practical and theoretical training to equip learners with the skills and knowledge required to operate safely and effectively within a chemical plant environment.
Responsibilities
- Participate in and complete all learnership training modules.
- Apply safety procedures, hazard identification, and risk assessments.
- Attend daily team meetings and provide progress feedback to supervisors.
- Support plant operations by following workflows, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards and adhere to waste management processes.
- Take part in root cause analyses and contribute to safety improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent with a pass in:
- Technical Mathematics / Mathematics SG/HG
- English / Business English SG/HG
- Technical / Physical Science SG/HG
- OR a combined N3 Certificate (Engineering Studies).
