Description
CAPACITI – UVU Africa is offering a 12-month Demand Academy Learnership Programme in Web Development & Software Development. The programme equips young South Africans with in-demand digital and workplace readiness skills, preparing them for future employment opportunities in the IT sector. Participants receive a monthly stipend while gaining technical training, mentorship, and practical exposure.
Responsibilities
- Attend full-time training sessions and actively participate in all learning activities.
- Complete assignments, assessments, and projects within given deadlines.
- Collaborate with peers, trainers, and mentors in a professional learning environment.
- Apply problem-solving and critical thinking skills to real-world IT scenarios.
- Demonstrate commitment, adaptability, and willingness to learn new technologies.
Requirements
- South African citizen, aged 18–34 years.
- Minimum qualification: NQF Level 4 (Matric or equivalent).
- Unemployed and available for the full 12-month programme (Monday–Friday, 08h00–17h00).
- Basic computer literacy and understanding of IT concepts (hardware, software, networking).
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Clear criminal and credit record.
