Responsibilities

• Participate in the 12-month Long-Term Insurance Adviser Learnership Programme.
• Attend and complete required learning activities.
• Gain practical exposure in the insurance industry.
• Work towards completing the Occupational Certificate: Long-Term Insurance Adviser.
• Work in AVBOB offices in the Eastern Cape province or branches where placed.
• Build knowledge and skills required for a career in long-term insurance.

Requirements

• Must be willing to work in AVBOB offices in any of the listed province or branch locations.
• Must have a valid Matric certificate with:
  • English
  • Mathematics / Mathematical Literacy / Accounting
• Must be between the ages of 18 and 35.
• Must not have attended previous learnerships.
• Must not be registered with another academic institution.
• Must not be engaged in any other studies.
• Must have a reliable mode of transportation.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must have computer skills, including:
  • MS Office
  • Email
  • Internet
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must show initiative.
• Must be a South African citizen.
