The opportunity is for a Waste / Risk / Environmental Administrator role that provides practical experience in environmental management, waste management, and occupational risk management within an organisational setting.

The role allows the successful candidate to support environmental compliance, sustainability initiatives, waste reduction programmes, and risk management activities while ensuring adherence to environmental legislation, company policies, and health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate waste management and recycling programmes.
• Monitor compliance with environmental legislation.
• Monitor compliance with internal environmental policies.
• Maintain environmental, waste, and risk management records.
• Maintain environmental, waste, and risk management reports.
• Assist with environmental audits.
• Assist with inspections.
• Assist with risk assessments.
• Investigate environmental incidents.
• Recommend corrective actions.
• Support environmental awareness campaigns.
• Support sustainability campaigns.
• Monitor waste disposal contractors.
• Ensure proper waste disposal documentation is maintained.
• Assist with ISO 14001 Environmental Management System activities where applicable.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in one of the following fields:
