Description

Vodacom is recruiting graduates for its 2027 Discover Graduate Programme in Johannesburg.

The permanent opportunity includes a two-year leadership development programme designed to prepare graduates for future leadership roles within Vodacom.

Participants will receive practical workplace exposure, structured development and possible international rotation opportunities. At the end of the programme, successful participants will move into roles within the organisation.

Responsibilities

Specific daily responsibilities are not provided because successful graduates may be placed across different Vodacom business areas.

Participants will:

• Complete a two-year leadership development programme.
• Gain practical workplace experience.
• Participate in structured professional-development activities.
• Develop leadership and business capabilities.
• Work on projects and responsibilities assigned within their placement area.
• Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Apply academic knowledge in a practical business environment.

Requirements

• Applicants must be completing an undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification by the end of 2026.
• A minimum academic average of 65% is required.
• Applicants must have less than two years of corporate or formal work experience after completing their studies.
• Applicants must hold or be completing an NQF Level 7 qualification, including:
  • Bachelor of Commerce.
  • Bachelor of Science.
  • Bachelor of Technology.
  • Another relevant bachelor’s degree.
• A three-year National Diploma at NQF Level 6 will only be accepted in:
  • Electrical Engineering.
  • Electronic Engineering.
  • Computer Software Engineering.
  • Information Systems.
  • Information Technology.
• Applicants must be South African citizens by birth or naturalisation, or permanent residents.
