A 12-month Graduate Internship opportunity is available for a recent BEng or BSc Electrical Engineering graduate to join a client’s team based in Jet Park, Boksburg.

This opportunity is ideal for a motivated graduate looking to gain practical industry experience and develop technical skills within a professional engineering environment while working alongside experienced industry professionals.

The successful candidate will gain exposure to engineering projects, technical support, site activities, commissioning, and regional travel within Sub-Saharan Africa.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the engineering and technical teams.
• Conduct research and gather technical data to support engineering projects.
• Assist with project planning, implementation, and reporting.
• Participate in site visits, inspections, and commissioning activities.
• Assist with troubleshooting and technical problem-solving.
• Compile and maintain engineering documentation and reports.
• Support operational and maintenance activities where required.
• Provide general administrative support within the engineering department.
• Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders.
• Adhere to company safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Travel to customer sites and project locations when required.

Requirements

• BSc or BEng Degree in:
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Electronic Engineering
• Valid South African driver’s licence.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
• Valid passport.
• Willingness to travel within Sub-Saharan Africa when required.
• Strong technical aptitude.
• Willingness to learn.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be a graduate seeking first formal engineering internship experience.
