Salary: R228 321 – R268 950 per annum (plus performance agreement)

Description
The Court Interpreter will provide language support in court proceedings, ensuring accurate interpretation and translation services. The role involves facilitating communication between parties, maintaining court records, and supporting judicial officers and prosecutors with case documentation.

Responsibilities
- Interpret in criminal, civil, labour, and quasi-judicial proceedings.
- Provide interpretation during consultations.
- Translate legal documents and exhibits.
- Record cases in the criminal record book.
- Prepare case records as requested by magistrates or prosecutors.
- Maintain statistics and court-related records.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 or equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in English and one or more of the following: Setswana, IsiZulu, or Xitsonga.
- Three months of practical experience (advantage).
- Valid driver’s license (advantage).
