Description
FlySafair is seeking a vigilant and professional Security Guard to safeguard its facilities by monitoring access, patrolling premises, and ensuring compliance with security protocols. The role requires maintaining safety, preventing unauthorised entry, and responding effectively to potential threats or incidents.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to and from the FlySafair facility;
- Ensure that only authorised personnel, vehicles, materials, company assets, and consumables are permitted to enter, move within, and leave the facility;
- Assist with the removal of violators from the premises when required;
- Stay alert for signs of criminal activity or disturbances and engage with relevant stakeholders;
- Report any suspicious incidents and/or activities;
- Patrol all facilities and perimeter as and when required;
- Assist with Ad Hoc duties as and when required;
- Conduct general searches of vehicles and valuables.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric (Essential).
- Security Certificate & Grade C (Essential).
- Basic knowledge of security protocols; aviation knowledge advantageous.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
