Description
The UIF Client Service Officer will provide frontline support and administrative services to Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) clients. The role involves assisting the public with UIF claims, benefits applications, and related services in compliance with the Department of Employment and Labour’s policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
- Provide screening and client support at the Labour Centre.
- Process applications for UIF benefits accurately and efficiently.
- Register and verify payment continuation forms.
- Perform general administrative duties to support UIF operations.
- Uphold customer service standards and Batho Pele principles.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Acts, Regulations, and departmental guidelines.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Senior Certificate (Matric).
- 0–6 months experience (training provided).
- Knowledge of:
- Unemployment Insurance Act & Contributions Act
- Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
- Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA)
- Batho Pele Principles
