Description
The General Worker will support production operations by performing manual labour duties, maintaining workplace cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with safety and food handling standards. This role requires physical fitness, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Responsibilities
- Participate in physical labour work, including lifting, carrying and moving heavy loads (up to 25kg)
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Stack and palletize finished cases on appropriate pallets
- Inspect materials and products for defects
- Complete relevant quality checks documents when necessary
- Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties
- Observe safety procedures and protocols
- Adhere to PPE standards
- Identify, Raise and assist in closing potential safety risks and observations
- Adhere to food safety policies
Requirements
- National Senior Certificate (Matric)
