Description
The General Worker will support manufacturing operations by performing physical labour tasks, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring products meet quality and food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Participate in physical labour work, including lifting, carrying and moving heavy loads (up to 25kg)
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Stack and palletize finished cases on appropriate pallets
- Inspect materials and products for defects
- Complete relevant quality checks documents when necessary
- Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties
- Observe safety procedures and protocols
- Adhere to PPE standards
- Identify, Raise and assist in closing potential safety risks and observations
- Adhere to food safety policies
Requirements
- National Senior Certificate (Matric)
- Medically and physically fit
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and overtime
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment
