Description
The Department of Health is seeking reliable and hardworking Cleaners to support hygiene, cleanliness, and infection control within a healthcare facility. The role ensures a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Clean offices, toilets, passages, waiting areas, and hospital wards
- Mop, polish floors, dust, and clean furniture, windows, doors, and lockers
- Remove waste bags and clean outside areas
- Perform general cleaning and household duties in the hospital
- Adhere strictly to health waste management and safety policies
- Carry out additional duties as delegated by the supervisor
Requirements
- Grade 10–12 or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 1 year proven cleaning experience
