The Department of Defence is inviting applications for the Household Aid position at AFB Langebaanweg, Langebaan.

This is an entry-level opportunity for candidates who can support cleaning and general housekeeping duties in offices and other facilities.

The successful candidate will help maintain cleanliness in workspaces, ablution facilities, and student accommodation, while reporting any defects to the immediate supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning-related duties in offices and other facilities as determined by the supervisor.
• Sweep work areas.
• Vacuum where required.
• Clean windows.
• Dust surfaces.
• Polish furniture and floors.
• Clean ablution facilities.
• Maintain cleanliness in the bungalow of students.
• Report any defects in the workplace to the immediate supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum ABET qualification.
• No experience required.
