Description

The Eastern Cape Department of Health is recruiting a Data Capturer in the Amathole District.

The position provides data-capturing, record-maintenance and general administrative support services.

Responsibilities

• Capture and update data on a computer.
• Generate spreadsheets.
• Update the system with all data sets.
• Validate data to ensure correctness, completeness and consistency.
• Compile routine statistical information and reports.
• Receive, register and track records or documents submitted for further processing.
• Capture routine transactions on a computer.
• Transfer information from manual records to electronic documents.
• Provide routine administrative maintenance services.
• Update and file records.
• Continuously update information on the computer for reporting purposes.
• Maintain the DHIS database.
• Retrieve required information.

Requirements

• A National Senior Certificate.
• No experience is required.
• Basic knowledge of administrative processes.
• Computer literacy.
• Numeracy.
• Ability to draw data.
