Job Description

The Department of Defence is looking for a General Store Assistant to support store operations and the handling of equipment and goods at the Area Military Health Unit Gauteng in Pretoria.

Responsibilities

Provide a productive service regarding store equipment.
Be familiar with the prescribed Fire Order DD19 within the store.
Be familiar with the use of fire-extinguishing apparatus.
Ensure all equipment and goods are received correctly and in good condition.
Complete registers for equipment received and issued.
Perform ad hoc store duties as instructed.

Requirements

A minimum ABET qualification.
No experience required.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Good numerical skills.
