The Z83 form can be obtained from any Public Service Department office or the Department of Public Service and Administration website. The application must include: A correctly completed Z83 form that is originally signed and dated. A detailed Curriculum Vitae containing full details of the applicant’s training, qualifications, competencies, knowledge and experience. Only shortlisted candidates will be required to submit certified copies of qualifications and other related documents on or before the interview date. Certified copies must not be older than six months. Applicants applying for more than one post must submit a separate Z83 form and the required documentation for each post. Where an applicant applies for more than one post using the same application form, only the first post listed will be considered. Applicants wishing to withdraw an application must do so in writing. Photocopied and faxed applications will not be accepted. Closing Date 24 July 2026 at 16h00 Applications received after the closing date will not be considered. Important Notes The Department intends to promote equity relating to race, gender and disability through appointments that improve representivity in accordance with its Employment Equity Plan. Applications submitted using an incorrect Z83 form or without the required information will be disqualified. Successful candidates will be subjected to personnel suitability checks, which may include criminal record, citizenship, financial and asset record, qualification, employment and social media profile checks. Successful candidates will also undergo security clearance processes and full security vetting. A negative vetting outcome may nullify the employment contract. Shortlisted candidates will undertake a practical exercise and an integrity or ethical conduct assessment. These assessments may be considered as additional criteria during the interview process. Successful candidates must disclose their financial interests within one month of appointment and will be appointed on probation for 12 months. Receipt of applications will not be acknowledged. Correspondence will be limited to shortlisted candidates.
