AECI Chemicals is offering a learnership opportunity for six (6) individuals to be trained as NQF 2 Chemical Production Machine Operators at their Chloorkop site. Responsibilities include assisting with plant operations, loading and offloading raw materials, maintaining housekeeping standards, completing production documentation, and operating machinery under supervision. Candidates must have Grade 12 with Science and Mathematics, be medically fit to work in chemical environments, and be willing to work shifts and overtime. Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

•  NQF 2 unit standards Plant operation training.
•  Loading and offloading of bags/raw materials.
•  General housekeeping on plant.
•  Operate plant with Plant Operator’s assistance.
•  Complete production process documentation as per process requirements.
•  Process monitoring and operation after competency declaration.
•  Working at heights.

Requirements

•  Grade 12 (with Science and Mathematics as subjects) is essential
•  Basic Computer Skills

Skills & Competencies

•  Medically fit to work in a chemical environment (working at heights and in confined spaces).
•  Ability to be trained to drive forklift.
•  Able to work shifts and overtime duties as and when required.
