Nampak, in partnership with Optimum Learning Technologies, is offering a 12-month NQF 3 Occupational Certificate Production Operator Learnership at Nampak Metals Springs. This program aims to equip unemployed youth with technical skills and workplace experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, preparing them for a career in production operations.

Responsibilities

•  Attend theoretical training at Nampak and complete workplace integration.
•  Operate within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
•  Ensure safety and compliance with plant rules and regulations.
•  Shadow, stand in for, and rotate between roles to enhance skills transfer, competence, and flexibility.
•  Maintain a strong focus on safety for self and colleagues at all times.

Requirements

•  South African citizenship.
•  Passed Grade 12 with Mathematics, Physical Science (minimum 40%), and English.
•  A National Technical Certificate will be advantageous.
•  Unemployed and aged 18–28.
•  Basic computer literacy.
•  Reside within a 50 km radius of Nampak Springs.
•  Strong technical aptitude.
•  Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
