Description

The Department of Employment and Labour, in partnership with EASTC Technocentric Varsity through the Labour Activation Programme (LAP), is offering Skills Development Learnerships aimed at empowering unemployed South Africans.

The programmes will equip participants with practical skills and accredited qualifications in the following fields:

Welding

Plumbing

Building & Construction

Garment Making

This is a great opportunity to gain valuable technical skills, earn an NQF-aligned certificate, and improve employability in South Africa’s growing industries.

Requirements

•  Grade 11 with Mathematics OR a minimum of Level 4 in Mathematical Literacy.
•  Must have previously contributed to UIF.
•  Must be unemployed and residing in Gauteng Province.
•  Copies of CV and qualifications (certified within the last 3 months).
•  No age restrictions – all are welcome.
•  People living with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
