An exciting opportunity is available for 30 young individuals to join the Agriculture Skills Training Programme in Diepsloot. The program provides hands-on experience in hydroponic crop production and modern farming techniques. Participants will gain practical agricultural knowledge and develop skills essential for a successful career in farming and agribusiness.
Responsibilities
- Hydroponic crop production.
- field management planting irrigating and harvesting crop.
- Crop rotation.
- Water Management,Monitoring and controlling water usage,leveraging hydroponics water effeciency.
- Fertilization and adherence to spray schedules.
- General Maintenance tasks.
- exposure to different watering systems.
Requirements
- Candidates should be between the age of 18-28.
- Candidate should have completed Matric/Grade 12.
- Able to demostrate interest in Agriculture.
- Fit and strong and able to work physically.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Passionate about Farming/Agriculture
- A farming/Agriculture qualification will add as an advantage.
