Description
The Water & Wastewater Learnership provides unemployed youth with practical training and theoretical knowledge in water and wastewater process control, leading to a nationally recognised qualification. Learners will gain hands-on experience supporting water treatment and sanitation operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with water and wastewater treatment processes
- Monitor basic water quality parameters
- Support daily plant operations and maintenance tasks
- Record operational data and reports
- Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures
Requirements
- South African youth aged 18–35
- Currently unemployed
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science passed
- Willingness to complete a 12-month learnership
- Ability to attend training and workplace-based learning
