Description
The Youth Employment Service (YES) – Safety role provides unemployed South African youth with workplace exposure and practical experience in the Health & Safety field. The position supports safety operations, compliance, and administrative duties within the Safety Department.
Responsibilities
- Assist with health and safety administration and record-keeping
- Support monitoring of safety procedures and compliance
- Participate in safety inspections and reporting
- Assist with incident documentation and follow-ups
- Support general departmental duties as required
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate
- Qualification in Health & Safety
- South African citizen aged 18–35
- Currently unemployed and not previously part of the YES programme
- Residing in Germiston, eMalahleni, Kathu, Kolomela, or Pinetown
- Willing to complete online assessments and background checks
