OUTsurance is offering a 12-month OSS Hastings Learnership Programme based in Centurion. This structured, work-based learning opportunity is designed for unemployed youth who are interested in building a career in the financial services and insurance industry.

The programme combines practical workplace experience with formal training, allowing participants to develop essential call centre and customer service skills. Successful candidates will enter into a fixed-term learnership agreement and receive a monthly stipend while gaining valuable industry exposure.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service support within a call centre environment
• Handle inbound and outbound customer interactions professionally
• Assist clients with queries and provide accurate information
• Maintain and update customer records and system information
• Follow company processes, compliance requirements, and service standards
• Participate in training sessions and assessments as part of the learnership
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve service targets
• Adapt to shift schedules, including weekends and public holidays when required

Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification
• South African citizen
• Aged between 18 – 35 years
• Unemployed for at least the last 6 months
• Not previously participated in an INSETA Learnership
• Basic computer literacy (MS Office)
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Strong interest in customer service, call centre, or insurance industry
