The Unilever YES Programme is a 12-month internship designed to provide unemployed South African youth with valuable work experience, practical skills, and exposure to a professional environment. Interns will gain hands-on experience across various business functions, preparing them for future careers in a global, purpose-driven company.

Responsibilities

Provide support across different business functions, including Customer Development, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, IT, Communications, Engineering, and SHE (Safety, Health & Environment).
Assist with day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and business effectiveness.
Participate in projects, campaigns, and initiatives relevant to the assigned function.
Contribute to problem-solving, innovation, and collaboration within teams.
Gain practical experience in real-world business challenges and operations.

Requirements

South African citizen, aged 18 – 34 years.
Currently unemployed and not studying full-time.
Completed Matric (Grade 12); a tertiary qualification is advantageous.
Must not have more than 2 years’ work experience.
Must not have previously completed a YES Programme.

Strong computer literacy and communication skills (written & verbal).
Good time management and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Demonstrates a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and adaptability.
