Sage is hiring a Transformation Intern for its Midrand Office in Johannesburg.

The Transformation Internship Programme is designed for graduates who want to gain meaningful workplace experience while contributing to initiatives that support diversity, inclusion, empowerment, and sustainable business transformation.

The Transformation Intern will assist with compliance and monitoring of various B-BBEE transformation plan initiatives in line with the scorecard. This includes areas such as Ownership, Preferential Procurement, Enterprise and Supplier Development, Management Control, Skills Development, and Socio-Economic Development.

Successful candidates will join the Intern Programme on 1 October 2026 for 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Collate quarterly B-BBEE reports for the Director to table to EXCO members and divisions.
• Assist with refining the company’s standard procedure documents for all areas of the scorecard in line with the latest legislation changes and updates.
• Assist in training managers and employees on the B-BBEE scorecard.
• Generate and distribute preferential procurement reports monthly in conjunction with the Procurement Manager and business or element owners.
• Oversee and manage the B-BBEE system, BEE123.
• Assist the Procurement Manager when required.
• Assist with management of CSR projects.
• Provide Employment Equity reports to the Director to ensure scorecard requirements are met.
• Work with HR on Employment Equity report submissions to the Department of Labour.
• Assist with skills development initiatives, including employee training and graduate programmes.
• Assist with Workplace Skills Plan reports.
• Seek out black business development opportunities.
• Assist in the development of black business opportunities.
• Coordinate annual audit and verification processes with the verification agency from initial stage to final verification.
• Track and monitor B-BBEE information.
• Ensure transformation data is captured and maintained.

Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
• Completed Degree or National Diploma in:
