Description
The JPC Facilities Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across designated municipal facilities. The role includes cleaning and sanitising public spaces, ensuring a safe and neat environment, and supporting daily operational requirements in line with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect public areas including taxi ranks, trading areas, countertops, toilets, floors, and stalls
- Maintain cleanliness of pedestrian pathways, open spaces, and public facilities
- Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely
- Dispose of waste and litter in line with environmental guidelines
- Report damaged infrastructure or maintenance needs
- Follow Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards
Requirements
- Grade 7 qualification (or equivalent)
- 1 year of cleaning or general work experience
- Ability to perform physical tasks as part of daily duties
- Basic reading and writing skills
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
