Description
Mukuru is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Branch Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff and customers. The role ensures hygiene across office areas, kitchens, and restrooms, contributing to a professional workspace where teams can perform at their best.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness across offices, workspaces, kitchens, and restrooms.
- Follow a daily/rotational cleaning schedule, including cleaning bathrooms three times a day.
- Perform routine tasks: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, emptying bins, and cleaning glass surfaces.
- Maintain kitchen hygiene, operate the dishwasher, and ensure supplies are stocked.
- Use cleaning products safely and follow health and safety procedures.
- Identify hazards, monitor appliance use, and report low stock or issues to the Office Manager.
- Participate in team meetings and development sessions when required.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning materials, equipment, and hygiene standards.
- Understanding of health and safety practices.
- Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or office sanitation.
