Remote Recruitment is inviting applications for a fully remote E-commerce Product Uploader role for South African candidates working with UK-based online retailers.

This full-time opportunity is suited to detail-oriented individuals who are comfortable working online and want to build experience in e-commerce. No prior e-commerce experience is required, as full training will be provided.

The successful candidate will be responsible for uploading, formatting, updating, and managing product listings across online platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, and WooCommerce. The role requires strong attention to detail, good written English skills, basic computer literacy, and the ability to maintain accurate and visually appealing product catalogues.

Responsibilities

• Upload and update product listings on e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, and WooCommerce.
• Write and edit product titles, descriptions, and bullet points.
• Resize and optimise product images for web use.
• Ensure product details, pricing, and inventory information are accurate.
• Assist with catalogue management.
• Perform basic quality checks on product listings.
• Format product information clearly and professionally.
• Maintain accuracy and consistency across online product catalogues.
• Learn and use online e-commerce tools and platforms.
• Support UK-based online retailers with product listing tasks.

Requirements

• Matric certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Must be based in South Africa.
• Must be able to work fully remotely.
• No prior e-commerce experience is required.
• Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Must have good written English skills for product copy.
• Must have basic computer literacy.
• Must be comfortable using online platforms.
• Must have a reliable laptop or desktop computer.
• Must have a stable internet connection with a minimum speed of 10 Mbps.
• Must have a quiet and dedicated home workspace.
• A backup power solution such as a UPS or inverter is recommended.
