Momentum Group is inviting applications for YES Learner opportunities based in Centurion, Gauteng.

This 12-month Youth Employment Service (YES) opportunity is designed to give unemployed young South Africans practical workplace experience within the financial services sector. Successful candidates will be placed within Momentum Investments Group, where they will gain exposure to real workplace activities, professional development, mentorship, and on-the-job learning.

The programme is aimed at helping young graduates build employability skills, develop confidence in a professional environment, and gain valuable experience that can support future career growth.

Role Purpose

The purpose of this opportunity is to provide unemployed youth with structured workplace exposure through the YES Programme. Learners will gain practical experience in financial services while developing technical, professional and personal skills.

Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend for the duration of the programme.

Responsibilities

• Participate in on-the-job training and workplace learning activities.
• Gain practical exposure within Momentum Investments Group.
• Complete assigned tasks and projects in a professional manner.
• Support business areas with daily operational activities.
• Take part in learning opportunities that build financial services knowledge.

Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Investment Management, Information Technology, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Mathematics or a related field.
• Functional ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Must be a South African citizen.
• Must be between the ages of 18 and 25.
• Must be unemployed at the time of application.
• Must be participating in the Youth Employment Service Programme for the first time.
