Job Description

Applications are invited for the Assistant Administrator: System Developer position based in Pretoria.

This is a one-year contract opportunity suited to a candidate with a qualification in software and systems development who can support system development activities and related technical functions.

The successful candidate will assist senior system developers, support software solution development, help with system administration tasks, provide technical support on projects, and assist with user training and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective and efficient support to senior system developers.
• Assist in the development of software solutions and systems.
• Assist with system administration functions.
• Provide technical support for CPSI projects and related initiatives.
• Assist with user training.
• Provide minute-taking support for projects related to the System Developer Unit.
• Be willing to travel and work outside normal working hours when required.

Requirements

• Senior Certificate / Grade 12 certificate.
• A recognised National Diploma at NQF Level 6 in Software and Systems Development.

Knowledge

• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of developer ecosystems.
• Knowledge of programming languages.
• Knowledge of web development.
• Knowledge of software development and coding languages such as C# and .NET.
