Bidvest Facilities Management is recruiting a Receptionist in Bloemfontein.

The position provides front-desk, reception and administrative support services to customers, visitors, employees and various business sections.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming telephone calls.
• Take and distribute messages.
• Make telephone calls on behalf of employees.
• Receive visitors.
• Direct visitors to approved appointments.
• Manage boardroom bookings.
• Manage parking bookings.
• Take minutes during official meetings.
• Type and circulate meeting minutes.
• Receive building audit sheets.
• Capture data from building audit sheets.
• File building audit documentation.
• Order stationery required by employees.
• Process stationery orders.
• Deliver stationery to employees.
• Receive and sort incoming post.
• Contact employees to collect their post.
• Communicate office-management information to employees by email.
• Provide administrative support to various business sections.
• Assist with administration for project work.
• Assist with administration for special tasks.

Requirements

• Matric or Senior Certificate.
• A certificate in Reception, Administration or Secretarial Studies.
• Six months of relevant experience in switchboard operations and/or a secretarial role.
• Reception, administration or switchboard training, ideally within a customer-focused environment.
• A valid South African driver’s licence.
• Ability to use Microsoft Word.
• Ability to use Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to use Microsoft Outlook.
