Required Documents

Submit:

• A completed New Z83 application form.
• A detailed curriculum vitae.

Applications submitted by email must be in PDF format and must not exceed 10 MB.

Applicants are not required to submit certified supporting documents with the initial application.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to provide certified copies of relevant documents before the interview, including:

• Identity document.
• Qualifications.
• Other requested supporting documents.
• A SAQA evaluation report for foreign qualifications, where applicable.

• Submit the application before the closing date.
• Late applications, including those delayed by technical problems, will not be considered.
• The Department will not be responsible for server delays.
• Do not submit duplicate applications.
• Submit a separate application for each post applied for.
• Failure to provide requested documents will result in disqualification.

• Communication will be limited to shortlisted candidates.
• Applicants who are not contacted within four months should regard their applications as unsuccessful.
• Shortlisted candidates will undertake a practical or technical exercise.
• Candidates will also be assessed on integrity and ethical conduct.
• Shortlisted candidates must be available for assessments and interviews on dates determined by the Department.
• Shortlisted candidates will undergo personnel suitability checks, security vetting and reference checks.
• Checks may include social-media profiles.
• Applicants must declare pending criminal, disciplinary or other allegations or investigations.
• Applicants must declare actual or perceived conflicts of interest.
• Applicants must disclose board memberships and directorships.
• Successful candidates must pass security clearance.
• Successful candidates must sign an employment contract and annual performance agreement.
• Successful candidates must disclose their financial interests.
• False or fraudulent qualifications may be reported to the South African Police Service.
• Failure to disclose relevant information may result in disqualification or termination of employment.
• The Department reserves the right not to fill the vacancy or to cancel the recruitment process.
